“On the Edge of Paradise”
The Caribbean is one of the world’s great tropical paradises. Its lush greenery, coral reefs, sparkling seas and sands attract a growing number of tourists – particularly to the tiny islands of the West Indies, like Barbados and St Lucia. But behind the idyll the islands are struggling to survive. A complex web of life is becoming unstable: this paradise is balanced on a knife-edge.
